Lead Farmer
Job Tasks
-Involved in all aspects of vegetable cultivation from greenhouse work, planting, weeding, irrigating, cultivating, and harvesting. Helps to identify issues and come up with a plan to remedy. Works with farm owner to map out weekly tasks. Leads the crew to accomplish all farming tasks. Full time during season, part time during winters and early spring.

Requirements
3 years experience working in commercial food production
Positive mental attitude knowing that farming is demanding work and plans change on a dime
Work well within a team utilizing communication skills
Prompt, showing up to work on time, fulfilling your responsibilities, focused on the task
Work 40 hours/week from Tuesday-Saturday
Great customer service skills
Attention to detail
Willingness to accept criticism and learn
Farming is an outside activity so you can expect to work in all types of weather conditions

Hourly pay dependent on experience. ($14-$20/hr)
40 hours per week from May-October, 16-20 from November-December and March-April

-Entry Level farming position, no experience needed
-Involved in all aspects of vegetable farming from planting, weeding, cultivating, and harvest.

- Able to lift 50 pounds, work in tough conditions, maintain a positive attitude, communicate well
- Full Time from April-October with possible winter employment
